Mission Statement

In October 2005, the Chinese-American Planning Council, Inc. (CPC) HIV/AIDS Services initiated a project entitled Healthy Youth, Healthy Future(HYHF). The program aims to inspire Asian and Pacific Islander youth to delay the onset of sex to reduce the risk of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) transmission, teen pregnancy and related social and health issues.


Description

The CPC Healthy Youth, Healthy Future project is designed to deliver a broad spectrum of program services to Asian & Pacific Islander youth, families, and communities. The services, tailored with a holistic approach towards public health and positive youth development and empowerment, include educational workshops, activities-based programs, mentoring and tutoring support, and community outreach.
