Mission Statement
The mission of the Wetlands and Wildlife Care Center is to educate the public about man's impact on the environment, especially fragile coastal wetlands, and mitigate that impact through care and rehabilitation of native wildlife.
Description
Wetlands and Wildlife Care Center is a wildlife hospital dedicated to treating sick, injured, orphaned and oiled native wildlife. The center receives animals from the public as well as animal control facilities from primarily the Orange County then re-released back into the wild. WWCC objectives are: rescue, medically evaluate and treat wildlife then release back into the wild. The Center also performs education outreach programs at schools and special events, education kids of the value of California's coastal wetlands and it's native wildlife.
