Mission Statement

Bedford Hospice Care's mission is to enable terminal clients to live their final days to the fullest in the comfort of their own homes or wherever they may reside, assisted by their families and friends and to provide bereavement support.

Description

The primary mission of the hospice volunteer program is to provide supplementary, non-professional support dutes which will be beneficial to the delivery of optimal hospice patient care. This will occur in a variety of settings in the hospice service area. A secondary mission is to provide cost effective care by using trained volunteers to provide services when possible.
