Mission Statement

To act as an advocate on behalf of all animals and to ensure their legal, moral and ethical consideration and protection.

To provide for the well being of animals that are abandoned, injured, mistreated or otherwise in need.

To promot an appreciation of animals and to instill respect for all living things.

Our Motto is "Kindness, justice and mercy to every living creature."

Description

The Humane Society of North Texas was founded in 1890 and incorporated in 1905. HSNT is an independent, autonomous society that is funded strictly on the donations of the public. Without volunteers we would not be able to care for the animals of North Texas.
