Description

We rescue dogs and cats from local animal shelters to help reduce euthanasia. We also save them from the public before they are taken to city run animal shelters. Most of our dogs and cats live in foster homes or rescue homes. We NEED more foster homes to continue to save lives. We have a cat sanctuary where up to 60 cats live in a free roaming enivronment till they are adopted, we also shelter some dogs there. We need help walking dogs, cat cuddling and cleaning. Our office handles all of our events and educational programs. We need help with coordinatiing volunteers, entering data into the computer and filing. Our educational programs include Therapy Dogs training to train dogs to go to nursing homes, Paws to Read where dogs and hanlders read with children that have reading problems. We have an active spay and neuter program. Our fundraisers are always in need of volunteers to help with the planning and execution. We need help with our class room programs.
