We provide essential services to our state and local partners, as well as the general public. From operating buildings, to construction management, establishing procurement contracts, and conducting tours of the Capitol, OGS is truly a diverse organization. OGS manages and leases real property, designs and builds facilities, contracts for goods, services, and technology, and delivers a wide array of support services. We provide government and nonprofit agencies with innovative solutions, integrated service, and best value, in support of cost-effective operations and responsible public stewardship.
The Governor Nelson A. Rockefeller Empire State Plaza is a unique architectural masterpiece which houses 11,000 New York employees in a complex of ten buildings. The Plaza offers a world-class modern art collection, New York State's Museum, Library and Archives, a distinctive performing arts center, convention center and more. It serves as a monument to the diversity and significance of New York, and also as a testament to Governor Nelson A. Rockefeller, whose determination and vision brought about its creation.
