Mission Statement

To provide shelter to the homeless 365 days a year in keeping with the values of the New York Quarterly Meeting of Religious Society of Friends.

Description

Every night of the year, for over 35 years, Friends Meeting has operated a shelter on its premises providing meals and a place to sleep for 12 men and women in need. The guests are vetted by NYC's shelter system. Friends Shelter is a safe and wholesome environment operated by 2 volunteers each night.
