Mission Statement

The Glendale Public Library is a service oriented organization whose primary responsibility is to provide free and equal access of educational, informational, recreational, and cultural resources to each man, woman and child in the community.

We pride ourselves in our ability to provide courteous and professional services through our resources and staff to the members of our community without prejudice or discrimination.

Description

Volunteers are essential in helping the library achieve its mission. As a volunteer, you join forces with the other volunteers whose willingness, enthusiasm, and abilities are adding a new dimension to our libraries. The library staff welcomes you. You will support the staff, making it possible for us to accomplish an ever-increasing amount of work while providing excellent customer service to the public.
