Mission Statement

The mission of Young Filmmakers Foundation (YFF) is to provide a positive outlet for mentoring and training urban youth in Memphis, Tennessee through exposure to the basic fundamental aspects of film and television. Our after-school and summer programs are available throughout the year to youths ages 8 to 18.

Description

Young Filmmakers Foundation is a 501 (c) 3 organization incorporated in August 2000 by Anthony E. Williams, a longtime film enthusiast with extensive work in movies and television.

The foundation has a host of programs targeting youth including its after-school filmmaking workshops, the Summer Film Project, The Playwright and Young Actors Academy and the Collegiate Classic.
