To promote opportunities andprovide programs, including transportation, which will enhance the well-being and enrich the quality of life for citizens of Barnwell County with a special emphasis on the senior population.

Description

Generations Unlimited is a political subdivision of Barnwell County. We serve as both the local County Council on Aging and the Public Transportation Provider for the county. We deliver home delivered meals to seniors who are homebound to help them stay in their homes as long as possible. We have the Sundial Cafe at the Senior Center for seniors who can attend to help them maintain their health status. We offer exercise classes, arts and crafts, music, outings, recreation, nutrition and health training, socialization and a daily, hot meal. In addition, we provide transportation to work, work related training, college and tech schools, shopping, recreation, medical appointments and the senior center.
