Description

Ciudad de Angeles is an organization of passionate and dedicated volunteers with a focus on community-identified grassroots initiatives. We seek to assist Salvadorans in reaching their full potential as members of and leaders in their families, communities, and society. The citizens of El Salvador face innumerable social, educational, and health related issues including gang violence, lack of access to education and waterborne diseases. Our focus is local, on challenges identified by individual communities. Our mission is to work in solidarity with Salvadorans to facilitate and focus on the organization and education of one underrepresented Salvadoran community at a time. This truly grassroots methodology empowers communities to advance from within.
