Foster and Adoptive Family Services Foundation (FAFSF)'s mission is to support New Jersey's abused and neglected children.
The FAFS Foundation accomplishes this by providing financial support to Foster and Adoptive Family Services (FAFS) , a non-profit organization that provides DIRECT programs to children in foster care and training and support to assist foster, adoptive and kinship families caring for these children.
FAFS Foundation and FAFS share the same vision:
Our vision is a world where all children are living in safe, stable and nurturing homes and no child is the victim of abuse or neglect.
Through our fundraisers, the FAFS Foundation helps FAFS provide scholarships, enrichment and self-esteem building extra-curricular activities, holiday celebrations, and more for children in foster care and supports thousands of foster families in New Jersey who make a world of differnce in children's lives.
Children who come into foster care are removed from their homes as a result of severe abuse and/or neglect. The Foundation is comitted to helping these children find healing, comfort, and stability during this traumatic time. The Foundation recognizes that this process can be a long road that requires an exhaustive amount of love, sacrifice, and endurance. The FAFS Foundation provides FAFS with financial assistance (through our fundraising efforts) to continue and grow the programs that give these children and families more support, opening doors and making for better outcomes for the children.
