Mission Statement

Second Chance Ranch is a nonprofit equine rescue and rehabilitation facility specializing in racehorse transitioning, adoption and consignment.

Description

SCR is located on a 25 acre ranch in Elma. We house 30 horses maximum at a time. While some horses require vetting and rehabilitation before adoption, others are transitioning from the race track without injury and only require training/re-start.

Additionally, we have a small wolf and hybrid sanctuary currently housing a pack of eight. They are very social and require daily handling and play time with people.
