Mission Statement

The mission of Saktce-Ho'Ma Opportunity Fund is to raise the socioeconomic, educational and social levels of tribal members within the Louisiana region. This mission will be accomplished through providing employment; expanding opportunities to own, manage and operate business enterprises in economically depressed areas; identifying and assembling public and private resources for community development; and expanding housing opportunities for low-income persons and families.

Description

Saktce Ho'Ma Opportunity Fund’s vision is to be a leading action-oriented organization. Its purpose is to help small business to continue and prosper, to develop and implement community development projects, and to be a source of information that will benefit both small businesses and community members. In addition, this business is organized as an exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 (or corresponding provision of any subsequent Federal Tax code).
