Mission Statement

The Parent-Child Home Program helps parents understand the importance of reading, talking and playing with their young children in order to encourage healthy development and ensure that children enter school ready to learn.

Description

Home visitors bisit families with two and three year old children twice a week for two consecutive years. In play sessions with the parent and child, the home visitor models verbal interaction and learning through reading, conversation and play using carefully chosen books and toys which are the Program's gifts to the family.
