Mission Statement

OUR MISSION: We are committed to following in our Lord's footsteps, and producing fruit by sowing seeds that will grow within the heart's of our local women, and beyond into our local families, cities and community in helping restore and encourage our spiritual walk with Our Father. We come together to encourage, empower, and enable each other to be all they were meant to be in Christ.

We hope to provide those "at-risk" women in need of food, shelter, clothing, counseling and life's basic necessities, with the connections to other community organizations that can help them in this "rebuilding their life" process. We will continue to PRAY for Our Children, Our Community and Our World.

Our long-term goal is to build and make available 2nd-Step Housing (temporary/transitional housing) for homeless women and children.

You can log-on to our website: womenofvine.com and read more about who we are and what we are doing!

Description

In NEED of VOLUNTEERS...call for positions.

We are a Christian outreach for local women to come to know the love of our Lord and Savior. We hope to empower at-risk and homeless women with the love of Jesus, and enable them to become all they were meant to be in His Kingdom!

We come together every 3rd-Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. in Hammond, LA at North Oaks Diagnostic Center for some good Christian women fellowship, a little coffee/danish, some good sound teaching the Word of GOD, and usually we have a guest-speaker talk to us about some fun or interesting women's issues. It's just good girl time! Our long term goal is to build homes and make them available to all at-risk and homeless women and children, and help them in becoming self-sufficient!
