MISSION:

To be a catalyst for change in the HIV/AIDS Community by raising vital funds for those living with or at risk for HIV while simultaneously fighting the shame and stigma associated with the disease.

Description

VISION:

To be a nationally recognized model of a charity cycling event providing non-profit organizations the opportunity to empower their growth in services and expanded donor base through the an event like Ride for AIDS Chicago while following the "N-I-C-E" core values.

Nurture:

Provide an enriched participant experience that fosters the notion that all participants are a valued and integral part of Ride for AIDS Chicago, and the cornerstone to its sustainability and viability.

Impact:

By virtue of its existence, and through its participants, donors, and sponsors, Ride for AIDS Chicago will continue to increase the public’s awareness surrounding HIV, while working to eradicate the shame, isolation, and stigma experienced by those impacted by the disease.

Capacity:

Establish a culture of excitement, excellence, and a one-for-all mentality with RFAC participants, volunteers, and staff.

Empower:

Allow participants and volunteers the opportunity to participate at a level best suited to both their ability and capacity.
