Mission Statement

The mission of the Haven Humane Society is to prevent cruelty to animals, to protect them from suffering and fear, and to promote their general welfare, as defined in the Society's Statement of Principals and Beliefs.

Description

The Haven Humane Society was founded in 1952 by a group of citizens that were concerned the animals needs in the area were not being met by the shelters already in the area. After all this time, we are still looking out for any animals that need us, either through direct contact with the animals, or educating the community throughout the year. We are a non-profit that runs entirely off of public trusts, donations and volunteer time.
