We’re committed to growing and developing, both individually and corporately.
We believe the Bible to be the inspired and authoritative Word of God, and is relevant and applicable to people of every culture, age and era.
(2 Tim 3:16)
We believe there is only one true God; He is the eternal King, Creator and Redeemer of all that is. He is just, loving and truthful.
(Eph 4:16, 1 Cor 8:6, 1 Tim 2:5)
We believe God created humans to be in relationship with Him, both here on earth and when
we join Him in heaven.
(Jn 3:16, Gen 1:27)
When the first humans disobeyed God, physical and spiritual death came into the world, and
they were separated from an intimate relationship with Him. Since that time, everything God
has done has been designed to restore mankind’s relationship with Him. Jesus is the fulfillment
of that plan.
(Rom 5:12, Eph 2:16, Col 1:19-21)
We believe Jesus is the Son of God who died for our sins, was resurrected, and is the mediator
between God and people.
Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He lived in perfect
obedience to God, his Father, and voluntarily paid the price for the sins of all people by dying
on the cross. He was physically resurrected from the dead, ascended into heaven, and now lives
in the presence of God. He is the perfect representation of God his Father. The Bible says that
all the fullness of the Godhead dwells in Jesus.
(Jn 3:18, Col 1:19)
We believe we are saved from eternal punishment and given a regenerated spirit when we
believe in Jesus Christ and submit our life and will to His authority.
Jesus said that we must be "born again," or born by the Spirit in order to see the Kingdom of
heaven. To be born of the Spirit, one believes in their heart and confesses with their mouth that
Jesus is Lord.
THE CHRISTIAN LIFE
We believe that every believer is given power to live an overcoming life. Each person has been
created with unique gifts and abilities, and has been born in a particular time and place, to
fulfill a purpose on this earth. As we honor God and live our lives according to His Word, and in
His Spirit, we are transformed and enabled to fulfill this purpose.
(Rom 8:37, 38; 1 Pet 4:10)
We believe we are commanded to be filled with the Spirit. The power of the Holy Spirit fills all
believers who ask. The Holy Spirit enables believers to boldly declare their faith, to demonstrate
the Kingdom of God through signs and wonders, and to live a victorious life.
(Eph 5:18, Luk 11:13, Acts 1:8, Jn 14:12)
We believe that the church is not a building; it is the body of Christian believers, worldwide.
Christians should meet regularly together to worship as a group, to encourage one another,
for teaching, and to pray for one another. We believe that the church’s primary purpose is to
minister the love of Jesus to the world and to advance His Kingdom.
(1 Cor 3:16, 1 Pet 4:5, Heb 10:24, 25, Jn 13:34)
We believe water baptism by immersion is an outward expression of one’s faith, a declaration
of dying to one’s own will and living for Jesus. We believe it is God’s will for every believer to be
(Rom 6:4, Mk 16:16, Acts 2:38)
GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT
We believe that the gifts of the Spirit are intended to be in operation in the Church today
for the edification of believers and for a sign to unbelievers. These gifts include the word of
wisdom, the word of knowledge, faith, gifts of healings, the working of miracles, prophecy,
discerning of spirits, different kinds of tongues, interpretation of tongues.
