Mission Statement
The Mission of Pets Lifeline is to care for and protect stray and abandoned dogs and cats in the Sonoma Valley while working to reduce pet homelessness through shelter, rehabilitation, community education and public service.

Description
We provide food, shelter, medical attention, and loving care to homeless dogs and cats.
We spay/neuter all shelter animals BEFORE finding them permanent homes.
We maintain data on lost and found animals and help reunite pets with their owners.
We provide free, personalized ID tags for dogs and cats.
We offer microchipping identification services to adopters and to the community.
We provide free pet food to low income families.
We provide information and assistance to pet owners.
We coordinate a free program to match older people with mature animals.
We coordinate a program to trap, spay/neuter and maintain feral cats.
We help area residents to find and adopt non-shelter animals.
We coordinate our activities with other shelters and pet rescue services to maximize pet adoptions.
We conduct ongoing community education services to raise the level of public awareness about responsible pet ownership.
