Mission Statement

The Carroll County Humane Society exists for the purposes of providing for and promoting the welfare, protection and humane treatment of animals; to educate people in the humane treatment of animals; to promote responsible care and ownership of animals; to prevent cruelty to animals; and to receive and manage money and property for these purposes

Description

The board members are all unpaid volunteers who strive to help the animals in our community, including helping at the county animal control shelter, have a small foster program and do fundraising to support our programs. We also run a low-cost spay/neuter clinic to help reduce unwanted litters and the high euthanization rates in our area shelters.
