Mission Statement
The mission of DANF is to help members of our community, including immigrants and minorities, to empower themselves through educational opportunities and access to services and resources. We provide programs for children, families, and individuals who are impacted by social and economic problems to help them discover options, enhance skills, develop positive attitudes and make choices that lead to self-sufficiency.
Description
For over 20 years, the Dominican American National Foundation has provided after school and summer programs to children of lower income families in Miami, allowing parents to have peace of mind knowing their children are in a safe and nurturing environment. In addition to children’s school programs, DANF provides adult learning programs, citizenship assistance, immigration support, computer training and family assistance services.
