Description

CAN developed out the idea that every cause needs a backbone, without it is destined to fail. Backbone in order to succeed. Often, the failure of organizations and causes are a results poor organization and resources. Times change, issues arise, and needs evolve. Building a organization to address the evolving needs, and issues take time, resources that many organizations do not have, so in many cases groups do not try to address them. As a result, our communities continue to face the same problems. The Columbus Action Network is a nonprofit incubator organization that aims to address evolving needs through the development and implantation of programs. Our goal is to find the changing needs and address them through programs before they become wide spread.

The purpose of CAN is to serve as a nonprofit incubator for social projects and programs that aim to address the needs of the community that are not currently addressed by other social organizations. We will do this by embracing new ideas and approaches in solving these needs addressed by the community.
