Mission Statement

Founded in 1979, the school’s mission is to provide free English language classes for immigrants, refugees, and asylees from around the world and to assist them with job preparation, educational opportunities and to assimilate in to the American culture.

Description

The Riverside Language Program is a non-profit English Language School that serves the New York City immigrant, refugee and asylee community. Students attend intensive, full time English classes and have unlimited access to college, career and life counseling. Over the years, RLP has served over 28,000 new-comers to New York City, and the school’s alumni have gone on to become active participants in every aspect of American society.
