Mission Statement

The Dunedin Rotary club is part of a worldwide organization that consists of more than 1.2 million business and professional men and women in more than 31,000 clubs in 163 countries. Over the last 10 years, Rotary has been growing at the rate of one club every 15 hours. Like every Rotary Club, the Dunedin group is a SERVICE club. Rotary International's motto is "Service Above Self". Our club serves the city, the community, the state, and the world through a variety of projects.

Description

On January 20, 2007 The Rotary Club of Dunedin celebrated our 60 th anniversary. We are proud of the work we have done in our local community as well as the world community. During the past ten years, the Rotary Club of Dunedin has donated more than $290,000 to a variety of local organizations. Our members have also been generous to the Rotary International Foundation. The two largest local recipients are the Rotary Centennial Nature Center at Honeymoon Island and scholarships for Dunedin High School students. To celebrate our 60 th anniversary our members have pledged an additional $50,000 to our club foundation which will be used for scholarships to high school students who live in Dunedin .
