At this time, I would hesitate to refer any friend or colleague to EAF. They did approve me for a grant back in mid June 2017 for employee hardship. After multiple emails and failures of the grant money to make it to the vendor in question, the vendor was contacted July 13th via fax to say the payment that was said to have been send out June 23 was in fact never sent and was being express mailed, which was never received. That check was referenced in the fax by check number and is a check that I had been told was voided due to non receipt by my landlord. The grant payment was due by July 4th at the vendor, who is my landlord. There is something very wrong here since they even told us they sent a replacement check in July that also never arrived, and now an express mail that takes 1-2 days never arrived. I now have to drag my employer and EAF into a complaint process for damages due to the destruction of a 16 year on time rent payment history and now a bad renter reference.

I was looking for assistance, they administer the AnthemCares account through their services. They were slow to respond, and ultimately rejected my application with no information as to why, or even provide additional information to help with other possible assistance. In essence they said no, which I would be ok with, if they explained why they could not help. I hope others have better assistance from them, but I am not feeling that they are trustworthy of anyones money.
