Mission Statement
Shadowpath Theatre Productions was founded on November 19th, 2003 to provide professional theatre experiences for the public in the following ways, as:
- theatre practitioners
- audience members; and
- volunteers
Shadowpath Theatre Productions develops new works and produces published plays with a focus on Canadian content. Our aim is to inspire and educate the public with our productions, new play development and workshops. The following objects are listed in our Letters Patent and are the basis on which the company operates and benefits the community:
Shadowpath Theatre Productions will:
1. Educate and advance the public’s understanding and appreciation of Canadian theatre works by:
a. producing and presenting dramatic performances for the public and by providing seminars and talk-back sessions on topics relating to such performances.
b. providing workshops for the benefit of the public on topics related to
Canadian plays, new works and performances;by engaging in the following activities:
To increase the public’s understanding and appreciation of original Canadian
theatre works written by people who reflect the diversity of Canada by producing and presenting performances of such theatre works for the public:
