Mission Statement

The mission of the Developmental Disabilities Division of American Training is to affirm the dignity of all individuals and defend and promote their right to participate in their communities as productive workers and valued neighbors and friends. We support activities that empower individuals to initiate ideas, make choices and decisions, and share in the resources of the community.

Would you like to teach beginning classes? (i.e., reading, dancing, quilting, yoga, exercise, to name a few) Do you have a special skill or talent you'd like to share?

Help support and/or teach our individuals in a daily routine at a day hab center.

My son Mark Sirois is a resident at 41 Milk Street., Newburyport. and He consideres Milk St. his home. Personally I think he is very fortuniate to live there it is a perfect match for him. The staff is very professional and compassionate. I would like to volunter to transport Mark and the other clients to events. I have taught Tai Chi classes at Opportunity Workshop in Newburyport, Peddle Works In Salisbury, I'm also a certified coach for Special Olympics for Track & Field and Softball. I have over 30 years experience working with Special Needs Clients. I have a CDL Drivers License, drive a school bus for North Reading Transportation and have a clean quari and criminal background record. I also teach Tai Chi and could travel to Lawrence if necessary
