Wildfires are devastating communities across California, causing more than 300,000 people to evacuate their homes and threatening many more. The Camp Fire in Northern California -- one of three blazing across the state -- is the most destructive in state history. We want to ensure that, if you are in an affected community, you find access to shelter. And if you are looking to help with disaster relief efforts, you know the most effective ways to contribute.

Wildlife1 is committed to rescuing, rehabilitating and reintroducing endangered animals, and to building a space close to nature where these animals can thrive. We aim to create a hub where the public, both locally and internationally can come together to learn, share and to bring more awareness to wildlife and conservation issues.
Wildlife1 is an animal sanctuary that rescues and rehabilitates abused and confiscated wildlife, and educates the public about conservation and wildlife preservation. We are also a dedicated resource for monitoring and reporting wildlife trade in Thailand.
In 2011, Wildlife 1 purchased a 15 rai site directly adjacent to the Chiang Dao Wildlife Sanctuary and National Park in northern Thailand, one of the few remaining viable habitats for wildlife in Thailand.
Currently, we house three Asiatic black bears, one stump-tailed macaque, one rhesus macaque, two pig-tailed macaques, and two slow lorises. There are currently many more animals waiting to arrive at our sanctuary. One of our primary goals in the coming months is to build more animal enclosures to accommodate and rehabilitate these animals. We are also in the process of securing funds to build an education center equipped with a library and AV to facilitate more awareness and about this issue.
