Mission Statement

The Portland Rose Festival Foundation is a non-profit that serves the community by providing families with programs and events that promote the arts, education and volunteerism. We value environmental responsibility, cultural diversity, patriotism, and our floral heritage.

Description

The Portland Rose Festival Foundation serves families and individuals from Oregon and beyond with events and programs that promote the arts, education and volunteerism. More than 16 events--the majority of which are free to the public--invite the community to celebrate our commitment to the environment, our diverse cultures, our country, and our "Rose City". In addition to our signature event, the all-floral Grand Floral Parade, our programming includes the oldest and largest children's parade in the West, an award-winning clown school, a "Living History" curriculum available to schools throughout the metro area, and an experiential learning scholarship program for outstanding young women that awards more than $50,000 in scholarships each year. More than 400 volunteers invest thousands of hours in supporting these events and programs each year.
