Mission Statement

To improve the quality of life of animals in the Anderson County Area. We accomplish this mission through various programs, activities, and events.

Description

ACHS is dedicated to making the lives of animals in our county better. We work closely with the Anderson County Animal Shelter. We take as many of their cats & dogs into our foster program as is possible with the number of foster homes that we have.
We also run a certificate program for subsidized, low-cost, spays & neuters. In the near future, we have plans to open our own low-cost spay/neuter clinic in order to assist more animals.
We do fundraisers on a regular basis to support our spay/neuter program as well as to fund emergency medical assistance for animals belonging to county residents and/or animals brought to the shelter injured.
