To showcase the downtown Myrtle Beach area and promote local buisnesses and talents, while still including participation of tourists.

Description

Event Dates: June 14th and 15th, 2014 Event Times: Saturday (7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.) Sunday (7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.)

The Salt Games features a community yoga class on the boardwalk followed by The Salt Games Pro/Am Surf Competition, Surf City Paddleboard Race, Kid's Shark Run, Coors Light Pro Beach Volley tournament, Tug-O-War, Bikini Contest, Crossfit Up Dog Summer Games, and our feature event - The Lifeguard Games featuring all lifeguards from six beach services battling each other in a relay race and one on one drills. The event will also include fire dancers, a hula-hoop competition and a moonlight concert series featuring Incredibly Tall People, Not Yet Rated and many more. Proceeds will benefit the Surfrider Foundation.
