..it is a gift to myself as well as to our community i wolunteer with our local food pantry and i have for several years, our partnerships within the community and with second harvest has allowed growth that changes lives, i was diagnosed with breast cancer, had recurrence and went thru chemo treatments and radiation several tines for extended months of care, and surgeries. I am personally grateful for organizations who offers the extended help that second harvest provides to assist families who struggle..wi until your faced with hardships, you dont realize how help is taken as support, it is a feeling of hope, it changes your life in a positive direction.
