Mission Statement
Our mission is to promote the full inclusion and integrations of people with all types of disabilities into all levels of society, working towards independence and equality for all people with disabilities. We are a non-residential, consumer-controlled not for profit certified Independent Living Center that promotes independent living and the empowerment of all people with disabilities.
Description
We are one of ten certified independent living centers in the state of Colorado. We serve seven counties in Northeastern Colorado. Our core services are advocacy, information and referral, peer support, Independent Living Skills Training, Employment, and Housing. We also offer youth transition services, nusing facilities, transition, self-sufficiency training through the Champions program, Multiple Sclerosis Services, the Vision After 55! Program for vision impairment and blindness, travel training, support groups and classes, deaf and interpreting services, and assitive technology training.
