Mission Statement

Happiness Is Camping exists to provide a free summer camp experience for boys and girls with cancer. Our mission is to assure that each child will not be treated as a sick kid - he or she will be treated like a "normal " kid at sleepaway camp. That is what mkes this camp so wonderful - we are just that "a wonderful camp for kids"

Description

In existance for over 25 years Happiness Is Camping is located on its own 145 scenic acres in rural New Jersey. We welcome, Free of charge, any child with cancer, aged 6 to 15 years, and their siblings. All that is required is that the child's personal doctor determine the child well enough to attend. Our staff of counselors, doctors, nurses and volunteers are part of this special family and the health and welfare of each child is paramount.

Sessions in 2008 run from June 30 through July 31.
