Mission Statement

The Health and Wellness Center Inc. (HWC) is a resource, support and healing center for those living with or affected by chronic illness or life threatening diseases. We will provide prevention, education, social, emotional and holistic support services to all those in need on a sliding scale fee.

Description

HWC will educate the community on disease prevention and management and how to live a healthier lifestyle to prevent chronic illness. We strive to educate on self healing and encourage Holistic Wellness of the whole body, bringing total balance of the body mind and spirit. Our goal is to improve health and quality of life for those living with or affected by chronic illness and life threatening disease through proper food choices, stress reduction, pain management, and to help reduce or eliminate side effects and to examine attitudes and beliefs regarding their health and risk reduction behaviors.
