Mission Statement
The mission of CLCV is:
As its primary objective, to increase public awareness of the performance of elected officials on environmental issues, to influence the decisions of public officials on environmental legislation and policy, and to engage in related social welfare activities to promote and protect the environment.
As its secondary objective, to support candidates for public office who, in the opinion of this corporation, demonstrate a commitment to conservation and protection of natural resources and environmental quality.
Description
The California League of Conservation Voters (CLCV) is the non-partisan political action arm of California's environmental movement. CLCV is the oldest and largest state environmental voter league in the United States.
CLCV is a 501 (c) (4) organization with an affiliated 501 (c) (3). CLCV also maintains California and Federal PACs. CLCV has over 22,000 members throughout the state.
