MISSION STATEMENT

Rancho Trabuco Girls Softball Association (RTGSA) is a volunteer driven, California nonprofit public benefit corporation, serving female athletes ages 5 to 15 and their families. RTGSA's goals, objectives and mission include the following:

  • To teach, conduct and promote youth, recreational softball in Rancho Santa Margarita and surrounding communities in South Orange County, California.
  • To provide a fun, instructional and safe environment for girls to learn and enjoy the game of softball, regardless of skill level.
  • To teach not only softball fundamentals, but good sportsmanship, team participation, respect for teammates, opponents, coaches and officials, and other life skills that develop good character and citizenship in our diverse community.
  • To be well represented by teams of player participants in interleague play, as well as local and regional tournaments.

Our success in achieving these objectives is largely measured by how many players return year after year, and whether our girls learn to enjoy the game of softball.

RTGSA is affiliated with the Amateur Softball Association of America (ASA), and is a member of Southern California ASA.

Description

Rancho Trabuco Girls Softball Association is a volunteer organization that teaches girls ages 5-15 to play softball. Players are taught sportsmanship, respect for other players and coaches, and to display good citizenship on and off the field when representing their community.
