Mission Statement

Jefferson County Habitat for Humanity works in partnership with God's people everywhere, from all walks of life. It's purpose is to develop communities with God's people in need, by building decent houses in decent communities in which God's people can live and grow into all that God intended.

Description

We build homes for low-income families that meet our criteria. These homes are built with no-interest to the partner families. Each chosen partner family also has to invest 375 of sweat equity into building their house- this is one of the requirements. They are not renting, this is a home- ownership program,they still have a house payment, with no interest.

Through the use of volunteers, in-kind donations, contributions, & fundraisers we are able to build homes for these deserving families.
