I would highly recommend methodist hospital because a few years back I was experiencing awful head pain high fever and nausea. I went to Brookdale hospital they told me I have a throat infection sent me home w/ antibiotics and motorin for the pain which I already tried and didn't work. Anyways less than an hour of getting back home I was in so much pain I went back to the hospital this time methodist.i was sitting up on one of the beds crying and a doctor came over and asked me what's wrong I explained to him my head feels like it's about to explode and my other symptoms. He told one of the nurse to bring me to the room with the sliding doors and started me on 2 different antibiotics sent me for a cat scan and a spinal tab/ blood and urine. Mind you Brookdale just looked at me and that was it. Anyway the spinal fluid was positive for meningitis. I stay in the hospital a few days and was well. And in the past I had to get surgery there they were great no complications speedy recovery .

I have heard good reviews about the care at this hospital. And would like to volunteer my time here as a certified nursing assistant.

I am looking to gain some experience within the Medical professional. And with my CNA license I will be able give care to people and one day obtain a job to continue my studies to become a nurse. I know that when you volunteer it's a chance for you to help out the people that is not able to help themselves. At some part of each of our lives we all have to face that a family member will be in need of help from someone. I am glad that I am able to help someone and put a smile on someone face that might be feeling a bit down. I know that I will be a valuable person to have on your team as a volunteer.
