Mission Statement

The Medical Reserve Corps (MRC), founded after the 9-11 trajedy unifies the medical community and citizen volunteers to aid the public health system in the event of a Pandemic Flu outbreak, man-made or natural disaster. MRC volunteers are very active in community education by lending a helping hand at health and safety fairs and emergency shelters. Volunteers train about 8 hours a year through educational programs offered monthly at a MRC unit near where they work or live.

The civilian volunteer Medical Reserve Corps serves as a wonderful example of true Americal patriotism. Through the work and service provided in towns, cities, and counties across the United States, MRC volunteers are making an immediate and lasting effect on the health and safety of their neighbors- and the Nation.
