Mission Statement

T.E.A.M. is a one-to-one community-based mentoring program that matches youth with caring adult mentors. T.E.A.M. is enhancing the resilience of youth by increasing their self-esteem, strengthening their school-attachment, and fostering their ability to make positive life choices. Catholic Charities' mission is to build a just and compassionate society rooted in the dignity of all people. Our staff works together to respond to the needs of those we serve by providing comprehensive health, education, and social services.

Description

T.E.A.M. (Together Engaging Adolecents through Mentoring) is a community-based mentoring program that pairs young people between the ages of 8 and 16 with caring adult mentors, with the goal of increasing their resiliency.

T.E.A.M. is one of the many programs run out of Catholic Charities' multi-service Labouré Center. All programs are funded by the United Way, government contracts, grants from corporations and foundations such as the Mellon Charitable Giving Program/Arthur F. Blanchard Trust, generous individual contributions and fundraising activities.

T.E.A.M. hosts informal info sessions every third Wednesday evening, from 6 - 7 p.m. at the Laboure Center.
