Catholic Charities' mission is to build a just and compassionate society rooted in the dignity of all people. Our staff works together to respond to the needs of those we serve by providing comprehensive health, education and social services.
South Boston T.E.A.M. (Together Engaging Adolecents through Mentoring) is a community-based mentoring program that pairs young people between the ages of 10 and 16 with caring adult mentors with the goal of increasing their resiliency. T.E.A.M. is one of the many programs run out of Catholic Charities' multi-service Labouré Center. All programs are funded by the United Way, government contracts, grants from corporations and foundations such as the Mellon Charitable Giving Program/Arthur F. Blanchard Trust, generous individual contributions and fundraising activities.
