Description

The Counseling Center offers individual and group counseling for women and adolescent girls by appointment. Children 12 and under are eligible for services if their mothers are clients of the agency. Counseling covers areas such as: childhood sexual abuse, domestic violence, rape, depression, relationship and family problems.The Shelter for Battered Women and Their Children provides temporary safe shelter and related servcies for adult female victims of domestic violence and their children. The Community Education Program provides public speakers, conference presentations, workshops and other educational services on domestic violence, workplace violence, date-reape, self esteem and assertiveness training and other issues of concern to women.
