The Family League of Baltimore City, Inc. is a non-profit, quasi-governmental organization mandated by the City and State to provide resource coordination and development, and to inform, prioritize, and implement strategies that will improve the well-being of Baltimore’s children, youth and families. The Family League believes that by providing leadership, creating public/private partnerships, leveraging funding, and using data to drive decisions, we will improve outcomes in our neighborhoods and communities.
The Family League of Baltimore leads, develops and implements collaborative solutions to help struggling, hard-working Baltimore families and children achieve their dreams of a better life. The Family League was established in 1991 as the Baltimore’s Local Management Board to manage and deploy government funds that strengthen children and families. The organization serves as an architect of change, leveraging relationships with public and private entities, as well as convening stakeholders from local government, the funding community and direct service organizations to bring together financial support and a shared vision for education and nutrition that benefit the children and families of Baltimore.
