The Kolbe Fund

Every day The Kolbe Fund has the privilege of helping families during their most difficult times. Our mission is to provide assistance to those who must travel to obtain medical care for a child. In its first 6 months our Hopeful Nights program has paid for 265 nights of hotel expenses for 72 financially struggling families with children receiving care at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). Utilizing our partnerships with Philadelphia hotels we are able to pay for lodging expenses in a cost effective way for families that need it most. The families that we have helped are referred to us through CHOP and Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House social workers. It is our goal to provide 1,200 nights of hope and comfort to families struggling with a sick child in 2014.
