Description
The organization operates exclusively for charitable, religious, scientific, and educational purposes within the meaning of section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, including, for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code and, more specifically included but not limited to:
Providing support and development education efforts for residents of all ages in the Wyandotte County neighborhood. To educate, promote appreciation, and inclusion of the culture and diversities for the common good of the residents of Wyandotte County.
Encouraging and implementing development of affordable housing through low income and mixed housing for residents of the Wyandotte County neighborhood. Fostering improvement of the neighborhood through a comprehensive process of revitalization that seeks to protect, enhance and promote urban living of the Wyandotte County neighborhood.
For facilitation of community problem solving and encourage informed input on issues affecting the day-to-day functions of the Wyandotte County neighborhood. Provide sources for counseling, referral, and partnership to address hardship assistance and prevention to residents in the Wyandotte County neighborhood.
Developing, promoting, and implementing economic solutions to enhance the Wyandotte County neighborhood; commercial and residential growth and development of the Wyandotte County neighborhood. This includes as well employment opportunities and solutions to directly and indirectly enhance the residents of the Wyandotte County neighborhood.
