Description
The Commission on Accreditation for Home Care (CAHC) is a non-profit organization founded in 1986 to meet the growing demand for accountability in New Jersey's rapidly expanding home care industry. The purpose of the CAHC Accreditation program is to ensure that patients receive homemaker-home health aide or in-home skilled nursing services which meet established industry guidelines and best practice. To achieve this goal, CAHC has developed Standards which home care providers must comply with to receive and maintain accreditation status.
