Community Angel Foundation

Description

Community Angel Foundation works to provide children in the city of Philadelphia growth and educational opportunities. We have three key initiatives; providing examples of leadership through "Success Speaks", offering merit and financial based scholarships through "Future Stars", and exposing financially disadvantaged youth to cultural enrichment experiences (museums, theater, ballet, orchestra). We feel providing the children of the inner city schools with opportunities to speak with and interact with community leaders will inspire them - we strive to pick those that came from equally humble beginnings to offer encouragement, hope, and neighborhood pride. Additionally to those that work hard and excel in their studies, we seek to provide financial assistance towards college attendance. Finally, for those that are less familiar with the rich artistic history of the city and the part they could play in it, we seek to open their eyes to the beauty of the arts.
