Mission Statement

Windbreakers Track and Field Club program’s charge is to provide the youth of Bergen County with the best opportunity to participate and compete in track and field through encouragement and support; building youth athletes to reach their full potential in Track and Field. We believe in the physical, emotional, nutritional and social development of all our athletes. We will support all our Windbreakers TC athletes so that they can excel in track and field no matter their prior experience or accolades.

Description

Windbreakers Track and Field Club competes in the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) and USATF (USA Track & Field). Windbreakers Track and Field Club has about 45 athletes which range in age from 5 to 15 which includes a USATF NJ 2012 200m record holder, a recent 2 nd place finisher at the Colgate Games for Shot put, three members of the 2012 USATF NJ 4X100 Relay Record Holders, a member AAU 2013 Junior Olympics 6 th place 4x100 Relay team, and top 30 Long Jump Finisher. Also many of our athletes have had state championship recognition as well.

We are a Volunteer run organization that is fast expanding.
