Description

The American Lung Association in New York need volunteers for its upcoming Sixth Annual BREATHE NYC: Asthma Walk 2008 on Saturday, May 30, 2009 at Battery Park, NYC. We need volunteers to help setup in the morning, directional marshals to guide walkers to the registration tents before the Walk begins. We need clipboard volunteers who will assist the walkers in filling out the registration forms correctly and legibly while they are waiting to register at the tent. We also need marshals to guide the walkers on the walk route so no one gets lost or makes a wrong turn. This ensures a smooth flow of the crowd and the safety of the walkers. Lastly, we need volunteers to help distribute water & snacks and a cleanup crew during and after the Walk.
